Throughout the past few years, legislation based on religious freedom language has been making its way through the statehouses in Virginia, Colorado, North Carolina and beyond. In the wake of the recent slew of executive orders from the Trump administration, many are fearful that an executive order specifically targeting the LGBTQ community is imminent, while religious freedom advocates assert that this is key to protecting their ability to practice their faith. This type of order would likely provide individuals and organizations with legal basis to deny services, employment and other benefits on the basis of religious beliefs.

From corporations like Salesforce and PayPal to religious groups and community advocacy, many have taken the stance that they will keep religious freedom legislation from being put into effect at the local, state and federal levels. HB2 in North Carolina led to companies and musicians alike pulling out of agreements to build offices or perform in the state and others are joining the fray at the state and national levels.

Hear from a diverse panel of leaders, including Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce, and one of the key voices in the fight against HB2 in North Carolina and learn more about the implications of current and potential executive orders and legislation on the LGBTQ community and beyond.
